Waters began delighting audiences with her pioneering performance poetry
in the mid '70's. Ranging from witty and irascible to tender and poignant,
she has toured the U.S. promoting both her irreverent observations on
life - and her books. The work included in the CD spans three decades and is influenced by the Denver women's movement of the '70's and the Hells Kitchen of Manhattan in '80's and '90's. There are 25 tracks many from live performances. Early favorites, new works and a few songs are included. |
